Hochbrunnerschneid (3045 m)
The Hochbrunnerschneid is one of the most rewarding hiking destinations in the Dolomites, as it is easy to climb for experienced hikers and offers a great panoramic view.

Ascent: By car to the Talschlußhütte in the Fischleintal (1540 m; parking lot), from there on trail No. 103 through the Bacherntal up to the Zsigmondyhütte (2235 m; overnight accommodation). Continue on trail No. 101 just below the Giralba-Joch (2431 m). To the left of the small ice lake up to the stream, from there over scree and a firn field and finally over rock to below the Hohe Popera notch (2880 m). Continue along the summit ridge to the highest point of the mountain. Walking time: Approx. 2.5 hours from the Talschlußhütte.
