Passing Glorenza and the Lichtenberg Castle ruins, one reaches Prato allo Stelvio, Tschengls and Lasa. After a short detour towards Martello, the descent to Laces follows. The route can be bypassed at any time on the Via Claudia Augusta cycle path. The return trip to Malles Venosta is by the Venosta Valley Railway.
