Natterer Lake

Not far from Innsbruck – namely a few kilometers south of it – the holiday paradise Natterer See opens its gates for those seeking relaxation and water enthusiasts.

Located in the Tyrolean low mountain range at an altitude of more than 800 meters, the lake promises the long-awaited cooling off during summer heat with water temperatures of up to 24 degrees Celsius. The moor water feels good on the heat-stricken skin and is of high quality thanks to a constant underground inflow.

Above the water surface, there is also plenty of activity, as sports are highly valued here - from windsurfing to canoeing, water polo, and water volleyball, the offer for aqua sports enthusiasts and those who want to become one is extensive. The active activities continue on the beach area, where you can jump on trampolines on solid ground or practice table tennis, beach volleyball, tennis, badminton, bocce, streetball, or archery.

A huge aqua adventure land for the children

Children who want to return to the cool water in a rapid way can do so via the 66-meter-long water slide "Happy Swing" and have a lot of fun. A climbing iceberg, a water swing, a wobbly bridge, and a floating planet complete the adventure. And because this place invites you to linger so much, at the end of the day, you still have the opportunity to extend your vacation on site - and can pitch your tent directly at the lake's own campsite. Even in the twilight and in the silence of the night, the lake surrounds you with its dreamily magical aura. Many have already been convinced of this and have awarded the campsite several times with corresponding prizes.

The Natterer See has its own boat rental (mini sailors, pedal boats, electric boats, as well as stand-up paddle boards) and thus offers you the opportunity to convince yourself of its beauty from all sides.

Culinary delights around the lake

When hunger speaks up, the lake also responds with a generous offer - in addition to the lake restaurant with beach pavilions and local delicacies, there is also a pizzeria and the SunSEEbar with the best service. And for those who prefer to picnic outdoors or on a boat trip, there is a corresponding take-away offer from local gastronomy. Sufficient parking spaces are available for arrivals, but the connection with public transportation is also excellently developed, so many different paths lead to the destination that carries fun and relaxation in its heart.
