Inquired: At which places in South Tyrol visitors can regain their balance

Those who decide to take a vacation in South Tyrol have the opportunity to bring their life energy back into balance in various places.

Absolutely stress-free for example are the Fischbänke, a very extraordinary street pub, which can be found in Bozen at the former fish market. Meanwhile, the square has become a real institution where you can enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere and eat delicious bruschetta. The Talferwiesen, which extends between Runkelstein Castle and the Bozen Museion, is referred to as the "place of the center." Here, visitors find peace and relaxation in the garden of religions, breathe the fresh air, or take a break on the numerous shady benches.

Anyone who wants to experience a spectacular sunset should climb the St. Magdalena vineyard hill near Bozen, from where you can enjoy the magnificent view of King Laurin's Rose Garden, which then shines in the most beautiful violet and red tones. The peace and quiet can also be felt on the Salten, a high plateau with extensive meadows and alpine pastures as well as a very charming mountain flora. The Salten is particularly unique in autumn, when the alpine paths are covered with red larch needles and nature shows itself in its most colorful form.

Idyllic Montiggl

A fantastically beautiful place that is particularly well suited for recharging your energy is the Montiggl forest, a mixed forest where the small and large Montigglersee are located. In addition, Montiggl is the perfect starting point for a hike through the popular Frühlingstal. The South Tyrolean Path of Peace also invites you to pause and reflect. Along the way, hikers will find a total of 14 stations with symbols of peace, making it a kind of contemplative path.

Fairytale World

On the other hand, perhaps the smaller visitors are more drawn to the Fairy Tale Garden of Castel Turmhof, a park that is hardly noticeable from the outside. The Fairy Tale Garden was designed by the former owner of the estate, and here guests will find grottos and caves, islands and lakes, biblical scenes, legendary figures, and other fantastic creatures. The Vineria Paradeis wine tavern on the old village square of Margreid is also a gateway to paradise. It is a place to enjoy and linger, and an opportunity to taste the delicious wines.

Romantic Village

Nestled between forests and meadows lies the small village of Gfrill, a mountain village that has only fifty inhabitants and where those seeking relaxation can find pure relaxation. Here you can explore the untouched nature in peace, with the Weißen- or Schwarzensee and the Trudner Horn Nature Park being particularly worthwhile destinations.
