Herbal Experience in South Tyrol: Selected Hikes

Even our ancestors were well aware of the power of herbs. And even today, they are still used in South Tyrol.....

Herbs
Herbs

Already our ancestors knew very well about the power of herbs. And even today, these are used in South Tyrol in culinary creations or in infusions of various kinds. In addition, one can get to know the energizing plants during guided herbal walks.

In Partschins, countless healing herbs thrive, some of which have been forgotten. During a herbal workshop, interested parties have the opportunity to learn about the various wild herbs and their applications together with two herbal educators. From the roots, flowers, and plants, culinary delights as well as care products are made. More information about the dates can be found at www.partschins.com.

Experience Alpine Herbs

Those who want to discover the natural forces of the Alpine plants should take the opportunity on June 4, 2021 to participate in the workshop “Experience Alpine Herbs” in Pflersch. As part of an easy hike, participants will roam through quaint forests and colorful mountain meadows to delve into the partly forgotten knowledge about herbs. The conclusion is a tasting at the herbal manufactory. The exact dates can be found at www.gossensass.org.

100% Herb Garden

Nature lovers adore the intense colors of the flowers and their scents. In Wiesen Pfitsch, one has the opportunity to explore a herb garden and colorful herb fields, discover herbal products or participate in a small product tasting during a guided tour. In addition, one learns much valuable information about the storage, drying, or cultivation of various medicinal and spice plants. Information about the tour and dates can be found at https://sterzing-ratschings.guestnet.info/home.
