The Dolomites Panorama Trail leads in a total of four stages from the Rodenecker and Lüsner Alm to Lajen, offering hikers a fantastic panorama of numerous Dolomite peaks.

Dolomites

As the name already suggests, at the Continuing Hiking Trail Panorama and the Dolomites meet. In four stages, the mountain enthusiasts go from the Rodenecker and Luson Alp to Laion, covering a total of 60 kilometers or 2365 vertical meters. One is constantly accompanied by the unique rock formations of the Dolomites such as the Geisler peaks, the Peitlerkofel or the Schlern massif. Along the way, there are also numerous resting places and viewpoints, and you can try local delicacies in mountain and shelter huts. Since there are various access and descent points, the four-day tour can also be shortened and only individual stages can be done.

The Dolorama Trail leads hikers through a very diverse natural landscape and runs almost entirely on hiking or forest paths. Only once does the trail cross a mountain pass road. The first stage begins at the Zumis parking lot on the Rodenecker-Luson Alp and then leads to the Maurerberg hut, for which one should plan about 6.5 hours of walking time. From the Maurerberg hut, you hike about 4.45 h to the Schlüter hut, the third stage, which takes about five hours, then leads from the Schlüter hut on to the shelter hut Raschötz. From there, after a walking time of three hours, you reach the town of Laion.
