Passeier High Trail (Passeier Valley)

Passeier Valley towards Merano
Passeier Valley towards Merano - Urheber: Unbekannt - PD

This route, considered one of the most beautiful panoramic tours in South Tyrol, starts at the so-called Roman turn on the Jaufenstraße (Passeier side).

Altitude start: 1,950m
Altitude summit: 2.390m
Difficulty level: medium
Walking time: 7 hours; length: 13km

The effort is rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view. The Ötztal Alps, the Stubai Alps, the Zillertal Alps, and the Sarntal Alps show themselves from their best side. Passing the Scheibelesee and Übelsee, the route continues to the Hochalm, which consists of strong limestone rocks. There is also an opportunity to stop for refreshments, as well as at the Eggergrubalm, which is located on the descent to Stuls.
